The Cognizant Classic opens one of my favorite stretches of golf on the PGA Tour, the Florida swing, known for its firm and grainy Bermuda greens, copious water hazards, and swirling winds. Yet for reasons unbeknownst to myself, the PGA Tour has attempted to re-brand the previous Honda Classic as another 15- to 20-under-par approach and putting contest.
