2026 Scottish Open Final Thoughts: DFS Picks and Betting Card

Weather

The Scottish Open weather forecast at the Renaissance Club, for Thursday/Friday at least, mimics conditions that would be most similar to 2024 (the easiest of the last four years.) Even with winds gusting up to 15-16 mph in both afternoons, I would not expect to see any form of carnage and the golf course to play under par. With that being said, the reports of the rough length increasing is notable, and always the type of edge that I am interested in exploring. Prior to learning about this, I was at a -1 scoring average and winning score of -17, which would come in a touch harder than 2024. Scottie’s point about an active attempt to make the golf course play harder is generally something to pay attention to, as these were the same sort of quotes that helped us significantly at winning score smash spots like the Players Championship and U.S. Open.
