Course Introduction

With just 3 events left for players to keep their tour card before the playoffs start, the DPWT has their last European event of the season for the Open de España. We are back at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid which has hosted each of the last five years as well as 2019. Club de Campo is a 7,154 yard par 71 with only three par 5's and four par 3's. It is a tree-lined parkland course with narrow fairways, small bentgrass greens and elevation changes (in particular on the front nine). The 7,154 yards doesn’t quite play the full scorecard yardage as Madrid sits at an altitude of 2,150 feet, which makes the ball travel about 3% further.
