Course Introduction

The Open de France returns to its long-time home at Le Golf National, after a one year hiatus due to renovations related to a new rail line built along the old 4th hole. In addition to hosting every other French Open since 2002 (2020 and 2021 were canceled due to Covid), Le Golf National also hosted the 2018 Ryder Cup and 2024 Olympics. It is a 7,365 yard (an increase of just over 100 yards since last time) par 71 that is their answer to stadium golf, with spectator mounds lining the fairways, plenty of water to provide drama and very few trees.
